New Video Premiere Gwen Sebastian “Annie’s New Gun”

Gwen Sebastian’s New Video for “Annie’s New Gun” is fun, flirty, feisty and definitely shows off this Country Music firecracker.  On Gwen’s sophomore self-titled album she included 2 versions of the song ‘Annie’s New Gun’. One with Miranda Lambert, and one without.

“I’ve been playing Annie’s New Gun live now for a few years and it seems to be the one that gets people hooting and hollering and off their chairs. I based this song on Annie Oakley, Annie Get Your Gun girl empowerment and who represents that better in Nashville than Mirand Lambert.”

(on a side note I was with Gwen in Vegas when she got the call from Miranda that she agreed to do this. She couldn’t tell me at the time but I knew it was something big.)

Due to Record label issues and crossing swords politics, Gwen had to record “Annie’s New Gun,” with and without Miranda if she wanted to release as a single to radio.  I have to add that I offered to do Miranda’s part but Gwen never responded. Personally I think I would have rocked. This redneck can rap. OH YEAH.

This video is quirky and has an 80’s vibe. Just like Gwen. ENJOY and let me know what you think!

By way of introduction, Gwen Sebastian’s new album may seem a bit late. She is, after all, an artist with a couple studio projects already under her belt, possessed of a large and growing fan base earned through years of touring, and the subject of a high-profile turn on a hit national television show. Giving her latest offering the self-titled distinction may seem curious at first glance, but her writing, singing and approach to recording have converged for this project in a way that defines her as never before. Thus, Gwen Sebastian is the perfect representation of Gwen Sebastian. The 15-track collection serves as an appropriate welcome for those who’ve recently discovered one of The Voice’s most successful contestants, even as it reveals a more fully-formed vision for her longtime fans.

Everyone asks “what exactly do you do Jessica?” What some of my family members say, “she tweets for a living” is my favorite, but really the title that puts food on the table is “Social Media Influencer,” the definition sounds simple, someone who influences others through social media, but I consider myself a Citizen Journalist broadcasting and entertaining with news, thoughts, opinions, delivering information in my own unique way. Famous for my ‘sass wit and straight from the hip’ style I’ve always been called a “Social Media Pioneer” in the music industry. I’m also an On-Air/Online Broadcasting Host and Personality, Digital Media Strategist, Country and Music Blogger/Journalist as well as a Nationally recognized Speaker and Founder of Country Music Chat, News and Views Entertainment Website My favorite accomplishment is starting the largest Country Music Hashtag community in the world Country Music’s #CMChat. It all started with a hunch...back in the early 2000’s I would dial up the internet via AOL and join chat rooms whilst watching my favorite programs on TV. Loved watching Reality Shows with my Mom in Tucson, and blowing her mind with how I always knew who was going home on the Bachelor or Big Brother. Don’t think she ever caught on that I was talking to people via computer on the East Coast, where it had already aired. (We didn’t have the uber-spoiler Twitter or Facebook to ruin results and awards shows for us yet.) I’ve been taking over the internet, one tweet at a time and have accumulated over 3 Million followers/friends/fans across all my Social Media networks. Over the years I’ve been consistently ranked as an influential online personality and even named as a Forbes Top 50 Social Media Power Influencer. I was the first person Merle Haggard followed when he got on Twitter and spent the day with Garth Brooks at Twitter and Facebook when joined the social media world.
