You’ve probably heard the new Eric Church song on radio, but this week marks its official release. In addition, this week we have adds from Sara Evans and Chuck Wicks. Be on the lookout for new tunes from Dierks, The Band Perry, and Eric Paslay in the coming weeks. For now, here are the new tunes that will be playing this week on country radio:
Eric Church – Talladega
With the eclectic nature of Eric Church‘s latest release, The Outsiders, there has been an effort to release the best hits for country radio. “Give Me Back My Hometown” became a summer anthem for many country listeners, but “Cold One” failed to break the Top 20. Eric’s new single “Talladega” is a fan favorite and is bound to make an impact. Be sure to listen for the song in the coming weeks (if you haven’t already heard it).
Sara Evans – Put My Heart Down
Earlier this year, Sara Evans released her first full-length CD since 2011, Slow Me Down. The album received favorable reviews from critics, but not much has been said since the release. This week, “Put My Heart Down” is released to country radio. Sara Evans could release pretty much anything and I would listen to it, but you should give the song a listen and let us know what you think!
Chuck Wicks – Saturday Afternoon
After self-releasing his EP, Rough, last year, Chuck Wicks signed to Blaster Records. His first single off of his upcoming project was “Us Again” that broke Top 40 on country radio. He releases “Saturday Afternoon” in hopes that the song will do as well as a song he released a few years back called “Stealing Cinderella” that made its way to Top 5. Let’s see where this one takes him.
More songs you will hear on radio this week:
