Parmalee brought the MUSIC to Skooters Roadhouse

Stoney Creek Recording Artist, Parmalee came to the Chicago suburb of Shorewood, Illinois to put on a show at Skooters Roadhouse on May 12, 2017. They are a unique band, composed of two brothers, a cousin, and a childhood best friend. This dynamic contributes to their remarkable on-stage aura, and they had quite a mesmerizing show!

Kicking off the night was their song, “I’ll Bring The Music” and let me tell you, the entire night, they did nothing short of bringing the music to feed a hungry crowd! Their unwavering energy was most notable, and they kept the audience engaged for a full 90-minute set, even bringing out a t-shirt gun at one point to send free shirts flying into the crowd. They announced their latest single, “Sunday Morning” and I can’t wait to start hearing it on country radio! Here’s a clip of it live at Skooter’s Roadhouse.

With a new album due this summer, “27861” which is aptly titled after the zip code of their hometown of Parmele, North Carolina, the band was eager to share their new music with the crowd. They performed several new tunes that the audience seemed to catch on quickly too, including a personal favorite of mine, “Damn.” Check out this clip!

Even those who aren’t familiar with Parmalee’s music beyond the radio hits were able to sing along for a good portion of the evening. Their set incorporated a few songs from different genres, such as James Bay’sMove Together” and a mashup of Flo Rida’sMy House” and The Chainsmoker’sCloser.” It sprinkled in their new music, but focused on their top-charting radio hits, including “Close Your Eyes,” “Roots,” and “Already Callin’ You Mine.” Parmalee’s first number one song on US Country Airplay charts, “Carolina,” was a crowd favorite. Check out this exclusive clip from their performance.

I would highly recommend seeing Parmalee live if you haven’t yet. They packed a zealous punch for their craft and made sure that every aspect of the show, from lighting, to stage presence, to crowd participation, was accurately executed. For upcoming Parmalee tour dates, check out their website.
