This past Sunday 99.9 WFRE hosted their Random Act of Country concert at Champion Billiards Sports Cafe in Frederick, Maryland. Not only was the food good and the drinks strong, but the show was free which meant one thing, a packed house.
Rachele Lynae was first to take the stage. Lynae signed to Momentum Label Group in 2012 where she began working with Jamie O’Neal. I expected to be impressed, however, I was blown away.
Rachele Lynae is a strong vocalist who has an intense stage presence. One of the best moments from was when she performed “Sticky Summer Lovin'” off her self-titled album that was released in 2014. It’s a catchy song with a great melody and she performed it effortlessly. Also, another amazing moment was when Lynae took on Adele’s “Rolling In The Deep” and nailed it. She ended her set with her latest single “Whole Lotta Nothin'” The song is well written and perfect for country radio. Rachele Lynae is jam packed with talent.
I loved finally meeting Rachele Lynae!
LOCASH (formerly known as LoCash Cowboys) was next to take the stage. Opening up with “Here Comes Summer” I was immediately in awe. LOCASH is a country music duo that joins members Chris Lucas and Preston Brust together. It’s a perfect pairing of talent. They are comfortable on stage, have exceptional song writing skills and overall they have a unique vibe that draws you in.
LOCASH are also responsible for some great songs including Keith Urban’s “You Gonna Fly” and Tim McGraw’s “Truck Yeah.” The combination of their voices fit well together and the entire LOCASH experience is pretty damn awesome. The duo ended their set with their new single “I Love This Life.” Their performance was on fire from beginning to end. LOCASH is a finely paired duo with God given talent and authentically created.
