Coming to Your Radio – August 25th #RadioAdds

Once again, men are dominant at Country Music Radio. This week Blake Shelton, Jake Owen, and Montgomery Gentry were most added to programming.  We have a great set of new music being sent to radio this week, but it’s full of testosterone.  Here’s what you have to look forward to hearing starting this week at radio:

Blake Shelton – Neon Light

Blake Shelton is set to release his eighth full-length studio album composed of entirely new music, Bringing Back The Sunshine, on September 30th. To start the countdown to release, Blake releases “Neon Light” this week to radio. Since his time on The Voice, Blake has been a powerhouse in country with his last twelve singles going number 1 in no time at all. We’ll see shortly if this song can live up to the reputation.

Chris Young – Lonely Eyes

Chris Young is back with his third single off of A.M., “Lonely Eyes”. Both “Aw Naw” and “Who I Am With You” have found a spot in the top 5 at country radio. With the momentum Chris Young has, I’m sure this song will join the others at the top! Don’t forget to call local radio and request your favorite songs.

Ray Scott – Drinkin’ Beer

When the #CMchat team took to Nashville during CMA Fest, Ray Scott gave us a sneak peek of his new project. “Drinkin’ Beer” is Ray’s first single from the upcoming release. What get’s more country than a song about beer with Ray’s iconic voice behind it? This has already become a favorite of mine – give it a listen and let us know what you think!

Other adds this week:
Darius Rucker – Homegrown Honey
Stevie Lee Woods – California Girls Have Gone Country
J. Michael Harter – Holy Cowgirl

David Loving – Angel Girl
