Pinterest Pass or Fail with Ruthie Collins

Curb Records recording artist Ruthie Collins definitely qualifies as an “Old Soul.” Take, for instance, her recent radio tour – in which she made the promotional rounds in her classic Airstream. So, it comes as no surprise that Collins has teamed up with Country Now for a new promotion that allows the stunning songstress to utilize her creative side to the max.

Collins, who is one of a select group of female artists featured in CMT’s Next Women of Country initiative, which recognizes women making an indelible impact on country music, has just launched her all-original lifestyle series Pinterest “Pass or Fail” today on Country Now. The series will air weekly on Thursdays through February 25th.

Whether rating a quinoa chicken recipe or creating a mason jar tiki torch, each three-minute episode highlights an accessible Pinterest post, which as Collin’s describes should “be easy to attempt and come at little cost.” Vibrant and fun loving, Collins’ personality and passion for the classic country lifestyle shines through in each episode.

“I can get lost for hours searching for projects on Pinterest, but sometimes they can seem a little daunting,” Collins explains. “I thought it would be fun to try some of them and to share them with people who may be looking for their next DIY project to tackle. For me, Pinterest is a creative playground full of great ideas – an amazing place to get inspiration and to share what inspires you.”

Collins is one of Music City’s most respected and innovative young talents. She is a versatile artist – singer, songwriter, and musician – who attended the Berklee College of Music in Boston and has worked with renowned songwriters and producers including Nathan Chapman (Taylor Swift) and Steve Bogard (“Carried Away” / George Strait and “Prayin’ For Daylight” / Rascal Flatts). Her first single was a stirring cover of the classic “Ramblin’ Man,” which can be found on her self-titled EP

Ruthie Collins will be appearing at the Roots and Blues Festival in Lancaster, Pennsylvania later this winter and will make her first-ever performance at the prestigious Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California in May. For more information about Ruthie Collins, please visit:
