The California Desert’s City of Festivals to Host Stagecoach

It all began in 2007, the year of the inaugural Stagecoach Festival at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Founded by Paul Tollett, the creator of Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, the Festival is primarily country, but artists from folk, bluegrass, roots rock, and alternative country will also perform. The complete festival information is located here.

For the 12th annual event, the lineup is as impressive as ever. The three-day event (April 27-29, 11AM-11PM) will feature headliners – multi-platinum duo Florida Georgia Line, four-time Grammy Award-winning Keith Urban, and a rare festival appearance by Garth Brooks – and performances by Lee Brice, Jake Owen, Kacey Musgraves, Kelsea Ballerini, Brett Young, Chris Lane, Brothers Osborne, Midland, and more.

For the first time, SiriusXM has a Spotlight Stage to introduce newer artists including Carly Pearce, Morgan Evans, Runaway June, Ashley McBryde, Jordan Davis. Though most of those “new” performers will be quite familiar to fans. It is, after all, the biggest country music event of the year.

No festival is complete without a stellar food lineup. Chef Guy Fieri (Diners, Drive-Ins And Dives) is bringing together the best BBQ pit bosses to the Festival. His 40,000-square-foot Guy’s Stagecoach Smokehouse will include the best eats from his home state to Kansas and the Carolinas and in-between. Alongside his Smokehouse, Los Angeles’s finest will also set up shop: Barrell & AshesBaby Blues BBQBig Dev’s BBQBludso’sDad’s Chillin & Grillin BBQRoof Top BBQSmokin Mo’sWhen Pigs Fly, and more. A full-bar will complement the smoky offerings.
