You might not have heard of Stella James Band until now, but it is a name you won’t soon forget. The trio, consisting of Sarah Davidson, Rachel Bradshaw, and Ty Graham, is ready to emerge and introduce you to what they have been working on for quite some time, perhaps slightly under wraps while they prepared themselves for their launch.
Stella James Band is comprised of Sarah Davidson, singer-songwriter who won our hearts with her self-titled debut EP and adorably endearing personality on TNT’s Private Lives of Nashville Wives; Rachel Bradshaw, singer-songwriter who was born into a football family, but chose a musical path in Nashville; and Ty Graham, singer-songwriter and the band member who completes this circle of friendship, unified by music. In an effort to inaugurate themselves into the musical world as a group, Stella James Band is giving everybody the opportunity to download three free acoustic demo tracks from their official website.
The tracks, “Stella,” “Songbird,” and “Red Flag,” showcase classic country instrumentation; intricate songwriting; and seamless harmonies that fit together so well, it’s almost impossible to determine where one voice ends and the next begins. Mid- and slow-tempoed songs, the selection of tracks released to the public is a trifecta of folk-inspired cuts that are reminiscent of The Golden Age of country music, which birthed artists such as Hank Williams, Sr., Patsy Cline, and Tammy Wynette.
The three-song sampling is enough for Stella James Band to prove its point and demonstrate what it intends to bring to the music industry, which is talent, poise, and respectable music that will transport country fans back in time to the forefathers of the genre. Visit Stella James Band’s official website to download the three free acoustic demos and get your taste of the future now.
If you are currently in Nashville, you can also attend Stella James Band’s show at The Basement, tomorrow, February 24th, at 7:00pm. For more information, click here.
