.@IAmStevenT Follows His Arrow(smith) to Country Music?

We have long said that country music is quite the welcoming genre and Nashville, well it’s a city that everybody wants to be in and can’t seem to mentally escape. It appears that the same holds true for Steven Tyler, frontman of legendary rock band Aerosmith.

There has been quite a buzz surrounding Tyler’s recent visits to Music City, as well as collaborations with artists like Jana Kramer and Brad Paisley, and people have been wondering what is drawing the vocalist who is known for his pipes of semi-heavy metal to the Country Music Capital. People may be able to stop scratching their heads in bewilderment, because a possible answer has been revealed …

Based on Tyler’s openness about wanting to work on a country album and his public friendship with Big Machine Label Group CEO and President Scott Borchetta, word around town is that Steven Tyler may very well be the next signee over at Big Machine. And if that isn’t “Amazing” enough, Tyler has been working diligently with renowned songwriters, including Brett James, to deliver new tunes to the powers that be on Music Row.

For those of you who are “Cryin'” over this possible changeover or who think Tyler is “Crazy” for making the move, “Get a Grip” … you never know what kind of magic this icon can make by “Livin’ on the Edge” a bit. Sorry, I couldn’t resist …
