[email protected] Visit “Friends” Coffee Shop Central Perk To Cover “I’ll Be There For You!” (Watch)

It’s no secret that the Swon Brothers shine on cover songs. Heck, singing cover songs is what endeared them to America on NBC’s The Voice. However, they recently played the cover to end all other covers. Seriously though, it would’ve made Ross, Rachel and the rest of the gang proud.

While in New York City, Zach and Colton paired with Eight O’Clock Coffee to celebrate both National Coffee Day and the 20th Anniversary of the Friends premiere. They paid a visit to Central Perk Coffee Shop, a pop-up shop modeled exactly after the beloved set of NBC’s long-running sitcom.

Although they played their hit single “Later On” and songs from their forthcoming album, due out October 14th, it was this perfect cover that made us swoon. While sitting where Phoebe would’ve sat, the singing siblings launched into a perfect rendition of The Rembrandts’ hit “I’ll Be There For You,” better known as the Friends‘ theme song.

With their perfect harmonies and incredible musicianship, it was the kind of cover that made me wish there was a giant fountain nearby to jump into! In fact, the only thing that would’ve made this appearance better would’ve been a cover of “Smelly Cat.” Maybe next time…
