updated after Billboard Awards
I’ve been seeing a lot of buzz about Taylor Swift’s new video for “Bad Blood.”
It looks to be a star studded video with some really cool character names chosen by the stars themselves. Zendaya as “Cut-Throat” and Jessica Alba as “Domino,” just to name a couple. Many other stars have contributed to what looks like an EPIC video.
Swift produced the Bad Blood video and Joseph Kahn directed it.
Since 1989’s release there have been rumors circulating that the song was written about Katy Perry. It’s no secret that these two ladies have not exactly been friendly over the years, but Swift told Rolling Stone, “For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not,” adding, “She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away.”
These interactions left Swift wondering if Perry’s comments were all in friendly fun or just one big insult.
Swift added, “[Then last year], she did something so horrible. I was like ‘Oh, we’re just straight up enemies’ and it wasn’t even about a guy…”
No one knows for sure if the song was inspired by Swift’s relationship with Perry or not. All I do know is that fans are definitely looking forward to seeing it premier on the Billboard Music Awards tonight. Tune in and judge for yourself.
