It’s been WAY too long since Trisha Yearwood gave our eardrums a taste of new music. Seven years to be exact. However, that seven year itch will finally be scratched November 17 when she releases PrizeFighter: Hit After Hit, a new album that combines her greatest hits with a smattering of new tracks. While fans have already gotten a taste of new music through the album’s title track, a poignant duet with Kelly Clarkson, we suspect there’s much more eargasmic goodness to come.
Ever the down to earth diva, Yearwood took to Facebook today to reveal the album’s cover and share the reason why she chose “PrizeFighter” as both the album title and first single.
The stunning cover features Yearwood wearing a pair of boxing gloves given to her by Sylvester Stallone and worn during Rocky V.
PrizeFighter: Hit After Hit (Have I mentioned how much I love the double meaning of the title?) can currently be pre-ordered on GhostTunes.
