For those not familiar with Two Story Road, this husband and wife duo is comprised of Brandon and Jamie (Jamelle) Fraley, two singers who have accomplished much on their own before forming a country duo. While Brandon honed his skills in the backing bands of Gretchen Wilson and Danny Gokey, Jamie spent years on the road singing backup for Carrie Underwood. After spending so much time apart on different tours, the married couple decided that life was better together and formed Two Story Road.
Today, the duo took to their Facebook page to introduce a new song and lyric video, entitled “Fit In.” Much like Hunter Hayes‘ “Invisible,” the story touches on the pair’s time in high school and the bullying they faced growing up.
They wrote, “Have you ever been bullied in school? Ever been laughed at or made fun of? Ever felt like you’re always left out of the group. Guess what? WE DID TOO & YOU’RE NOT ALONE!!! We’d like to offer you a little “hug” in the form of a song that the two of us wrote. Just know that whatever situation you’re going through (or already endured) doesn’t have to define the amazing person you are now and stop you from becoming whoever you want to be in life. Watch this video & you’ll hear us sing about some of the stuff we went through growing up. If you’ve got a story you’d like to share with us, we’d love to here it. After all, there’s nothing wrong with singin’ a song about… just wantin’ to #FitIn.”
