Tyler Farr was born and raised in the small town of Garden City, Missouri. He was first introduced to country music at age sixteen when he spent a summer on the road with his stepfather, the lead guitarist for country icon George Jones. It was then he developed his love for country music and decided to move to Nashville, Tennessee. Tyler scored a job working as a bouncer at tourist attraction Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge until he convinced management to let him take the mic. For several years after that, he played Tootsie’s four nights a week, while also maintaining his bouncer position. Tyler ultimately bonded with award-winning songwriter, Rhett Akins, over their love for music and the outdoors. After meeting and writing with some of the best songwriters in Nashville, Tyler landed a publishing deal with Sony ATV/Monument Publishing and a recording contract with Sony Music Nashville’s BNA Records. Tyler has been on tour with Colt Ford, Jerrod Niemann and Lee Brice, and is currently on tour with Jason Aldean. At the end of 2013, Tyler released a full-length album, Redneck Crazy, which has yielded three hit singles, including the title track, “Whiskey in My Water,” and his current single, “A Guy Walks Into a Bar.”
