It seems like only yesterday that those two planes struck the World Trade Center before our very eyes on national television. It seems like we just received news that the Pentagon had been targeted and another commercial jet had been taken over. It seems like moments ago we heard of the heroics of the passengers on United Flight 93 who interfered with another hijack and saved so many lives by forcing the airplane into the Pennsylvania ground, rather than, presumably, the White House or Capitol Building. However, it wasn’t yesterday or moments ago … it has been a stunning thirteen years since our nation changed forever.
In honor of those who stepped up and lent a hand that day; in honor of those who continue to step up every day and defend our country; and in memory of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001 and in its aftermath, we dedicate today’s Country Music Chat #UnforTWEETable to you and your families. One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
On this day Sept 10th 13 years ago not one thing that happened mattered much at all come tomorrow morning! #neverforget
