Florida native Westin Davis has a true talent for songwriting. He has written songs for artists such as Kip Moore, Granger Smith and A Thousand Horses. When he loaded up his old Ford truck and headed to Nashville with nothing but a bag of dreams he never imagined he would get a publishing deal with Magic Mustang Music. You see, the thing about him is that he is a strong-minded individual. We have supported him through all his music endeavors, however, he now needs our support in other ways.
Davis’ son Ramble, who will be two years old in November was born with Down Syndrome. As a mother to a special needs child myself, I know just how hard things can be. Sadly, Ramble was also recently diagnosed with Leukemia and will be hospitalized for at least eight months as he fights this terrible battle and illness.
Country music friends, fans and family – there are two things needed to help out this amazing family. First, pray. The Bible says ask and you shall receive, so let’s all rally together and ask for healing for this precious little boy.
As you can imagine, an eight-month hospital stay is rather pricey. Please consider donating to a GoFundMe page that has been set up to help the Davis family in this difficult time. The great thing about our community is that we stick together and we help one another. Just by sharing this story, you are lending a helping hand.
From all of us at #CMchat we thank you for your support and we are going to help Ramble kick cancer’s butt!!
